Position Overview:
B.O.T is seeking a talented and passionate Data Science Intern who will be supporting various aspects of survey digitization and maintaining quality assurance. This internship offers a practical learning experience in handling data, administering access, and maintaining quality control within the context of survey operations. Training and support will be delivered for the required tasks. You will be in constant contact and supervision of our Junior Data Scientist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the digitization of surveys using SurveyCTO to optimize data collection.
- Give access for users needed on the required applications.
- Listen to survey audio recordings to ensure high data quality collected.
- Conduct call backs if needed.
- Monitor tracking sheets and implement Excel formulas to enhance work efficiency.
- Learn and work with mapping software, such as ArcGIS, for annotations.
- Work on creating QR codes.
Qualifications:
- Data Cleaning and Analysis.
- Data Visualization.
- Database knowledge.
- Knowledge in working with Excel formulas.
- Problem solving and communication skills.
- Curiosity and Eagerness to learn.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to the organization’s tools, processes, and data infrastructure.
